Wrightia religiosa propagation Empty Wrightia religiosa propagation

I know there are some experts on this plant here. My question is how difficult are these to propagate? Is there a technique that works best for you?

Thanks!

I have three and have been tempted to try. If I did I would treat them like Ficus.

I know they are easy propagated by air layer. Maybe cuttings would work too

A warning about this species. It is allelopathic like black walnut. Don't put it in a group planting. It will kill the trees next to it. At least this was my experience.

Do you mean group planting of different species? If only Wrightias are used in a group planting?

Root cuttings should work too. Haven't done it intentionally, but whenever I snip roots and leave them in the ground, they invariably send up shoots.
