Rhododendron impeditum 'Moerheim'

I want to show you the progression of a Rhododendron from the garten. She was plantet about 40 years ago. 2010 the house was demolished and i could dig our all plants in the garden.

Next spring i begann to wire the tree and washed out the rootball and planted her into a new pot.


The normal colour of the leafes in winter. Two years after i diged out the tree.


I found a new pot for the tree. But i could not plant her in a good position. The tree has to make first more roots on the left side before i can cut the right one.


Now, three years after the first foto i could plant her in the right position.

The Azalee has a lot of flower buds for next spring and i could remove the wire. I think the tree is on the right way.

Lovely tree!!

That looks very nice, I was startled by the first autumn/winter photo, I thought it had died, so relieved.
