What a beauty! cheers

First I've seen or heard of an Acacia bonsai flowering!Cool

"Surprised" leads me to believe you didn't do anything special/different to achieve this?

Cheers

Black thorn....must be a nasty bugger to work on!

Would you mind posting pics when it's leafed out? (and updates as the flowers develop please)
Not the fattest trunk, but I like the layout of the tree....if I can put it that way. Cool

I assume it's slightly over-potted?

What a gorgeous flowers, I wonder how they would look on a ShoHin blackthorn. I had never seen this species with flowers before, thanks for sharing.

BTW that looks like a dangerous tree to work on without gloves.......Rolling Eyes

That is very unique. Congratulations.

It would be interesting to know if it will flower next year as well. When last did you transplant it? And what was your soilmix?

Love and light

Thanks Everyone:D Very Happy
Andre,

I re potted it last spring in a home made biggish pot to see if the base would thicken more:o this year just removed some of the top soil and replaced with new.
regarding the soil I buy all my soil from Duncan Wiles don't know if you have heard of him.

So there was no extra sand added to your mix? Interesting.
