Twin trunk?

By consensus in another thread it's obvious that the this tree is not a bunjin but let me ask this- is this a twin trunk in your opinion?
I say it is even if they don't seperate from the base.

No, it is not a twin trunk by any stretch.   It is an informal upright with a dominant first branch.

Bob, when I saw the tree I thought immediatly of separation, either visually or for real. I mean the trees can be left connected in some low spot and then split going up. Rotating the tree(s) counterclockwise can add a feeling of togetherness. I am sure you have considered it already.
