Laburnum (W-Europe hardy kind) Empty Laburnum (W-Europe hardy kind)

Hello all,

I have a 2 to 3 months old seedling of laburnum. Could I leave it outside on my (very) windy balcony (I could bury it with it's pot in a container, but still very exposed to the elements) or would it be better to store it in a cold room (8-10 degrees C) inside the house?

Thanks for any advice!

I'm not an expert on laburnum, but I do know that wind is usually more harmful than just the temperature. But your cold room might be too warm for the tree to stay dormant. Can you protect from the worst wind?

Thanks for the response.

I could put a cucumber glass over it, to protect it from the wind or use some rocks as windbreakers.
