Hard to find tools anymore. I was in a Menards and there are more shelves of food than there are of hand tools. I thought they were a building supply & hardware store? not a grocery store? All the 'real tools' are just about gone, just cheap junk imported from China. Nobody carries a 22 ounce Plumb Framing Hammer anymone. But they have 17 different flavors of roasted peanuts, 25 flavors of corn chips and dozens of different cheeze spreads. What gives? And it is not just Menards, all the Big Box stores are doing this.

The Ace Hardware chain is a franchise, so they are independently run. Some locations really do still focus on tools. If you are in the North Suburbs of Chicago, the Ace at the northwest corner of Hwy 41 & Hwy 22, Highland Park, has a good tool section. There are several in Chicago that are good. You might check Harbor Frieght, they have several stores in the greater Chicagoland area. Woodcraft has stores in Woodridge and Libertyville. Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has a store in Schaumburg.

Most have internet sites, so you don't have to fight traffic.

This link is awesome... however a little pricey. But I need just one large attachment to remove the bulk of deadwood since I have most of the detailing attachments (so I am fine with the price).

Thanks.

I've used kutzall carbide bits for both my 1/4" die grinder and my 1/8 ryobi rotary tool.  The coarser graded wheels remove alot of wood quickly.

You can find them on ebay and at Amazon.com as well.

It's cheaper than getting them shipped from Europe, which I have done. Mine has lasted a long time and has been through hell.
I have the http://www.treelineusa.com/power-carving-burs/14-roto-chisel/large-pointed-rotary-chisel.html

This site has the best ones I have ever used. The also sell a sharpener for it. Ships from Europe. Kind of pricy, but the best I have used.
