I'd like to gather feedback both in the form of a poll and soliciting comments on the National Bonsai Foundation
Specifically, if you could tell me what your impressions of the NBF are, how familiar you are with the activities of the NBF, and after visiting the NBF website, what features or improvements you'd like to see added. Thanks!

Their website looks nice but has little content. Apparently nothing is planned for 2009.

I would have to agree with Mr Jim...Nice website, nothing of interest past the limited gallery..Home page could use some work on certain areas you would want to stand out..

There is more than a limited gallery. The complete collections are on the website, and I will periodically look at them. I've been there once in person, and I can never get enough. At one time the website had the collection as a 'virtual tour' of the museum, and I like the current method of display better. I recognize the 2009 schdule is not up yet, but like many organizations that are primarily volunteer base, keeping websites up to date is hard. I support NBF because it is the sole support of the collection. If my memory serves me right, there is no federal money to support the collection. The Bonsai Collection (Japanese, Chinese, American) and the viewing stones are housed in the National Arboretum, and I know the Bush administration cut the funding of the arboretum just last year (again). I urge very Bonsai lover to donate to the NBF.

Thanks for everyone's comments thus far. Carolee is right, there are 117 pics of the various collections, not including photographic collections of various displays and shows, etc. The images load very quickly too! Smile

I thought I'd bump this up one time. Please participate if you have not previously. Thanks!
