I found this poor old Fothergilla (witch alder) for about $3 at the end of the year sale at Home Depot. It was in pretty bad shape and has been growing unchecked for several years now. I will have to take a better photo outside. Its an exposed root style with natural deadwood on the trunk. Comments are always welcome.
