Stolen plant.

Post  bumblebee on Tue May 07, 2013 12:11 am

It would seem that I have entered an elite group. I had a plant sitting on my front porch bench that was desirable enough
for somebody to steal! It was just a portulacaria afra, but big and old, and with a thick trunk and developed canopy.
It was in a good looking pot so most out there would consider it bonsai.

I sad and mad that it is gone, but at least somebody out there thinks I do good work!

Wow, so to hear this - both for you and that's it's too close to home!

Huge bummer. I guess it IS a compliment in a way!
I live intown next to a Resturaunt & bar. I've got a shared garden for the apt tenants. I often find beer cans & trash in the garden, trampled tulips & daffodils. I want to grow native species (current are all sub/tropicals) but fear a drunkard or thief will come across it!!
I'd be angry. I'd install a camera & bait em w/ an even nicer tree! Lol. Good luck BumbleBee, buzz on!!
