Both my portulacarias did well over winter and I repotted the larger one in a grow pot with good draining soil mix.

However, I messed up when I took it outside for the first time and did not slowly enough get it accustomed to full outdoor sun and colder evenings, although it had been in direct sun through a window most it's life.

Anyways, most leaves ended up wrinkly and weak looking after its first 2 days outside.

I removed these to allow the tree to concentrate on its new growth.

The new leaves emerging on the tips of branches look healthy and "firm". So I'm not worried, but I am wondering if at this point I can do anything to speed up the recovery.

I am assuming the tree will replace all its lost growth quite rapidly in the coming weeks?

It can't be killed by too much sun too fast can it?

The tree will recover. Keep it dryer as usual because it don't need much water after it has lost it leaves. I keep my Portulacaria dry for a week or two after repotting it to give any roots that were hurt a chance to seal off.

Good day Epicus

...o yes, it definately can...

When you move a plant from shade to sun, put a 'hat' on it, like a piece of horticultural cloth, or leaves from a conifer, and gradually make it use to the sun.

Love and light

Ps. For us ill informed: Quebec is in Canada, on the Atlantic side.. brrrrrrrrrrrr
The chances of you killing a tree in this way is much less than Africa, for instance. (see why location is important!)
