The only thing I'd suggest to him is to get rid of that arrow-pointed top. Few trees grow that way -- especially if they don't have needles.

Brazilian Rain Tree, of a friend... Empty Alteration...

Post  luciano benyakob Wed Feb 04, 2009 11:40 pm

Jim, observed Good!
Here in Brazil, we have this vice due the influence of the Japanese school!
I find that it is better with the suggested alteration.
Thanks Luciano.

It's not only in Brazil! Go to any bonsai exhibit and the damnedest species have pointed tops. Damn the triangle and full speed ahead, is what I say. :P

Brazilian Rain Tree, of a friend... Empty Schools...

Post  luciano benyakob Thu Feb 05, 2009 2:31 pm

Jim,Here in the Brazil we have a group of fundamentalists , who want to work everything in Matsu Zukuri!
I am admiring of the Naturalistic and of the school of the great China I have arranged some disaffections for that reason.
I found a tree of the Budi Sulistyo, where we will go in them to base to modify this!
Thanks Luciano.
