Here you are Alexandra, just for you being you.

The history - seed given to me in Florence, by two African botany students from South Africa's herbarium, around 83 or 84 and then I gave it to a local nursery to germinate. About a 1/2 kilo or so of seed.
I had to return to Florence for my final year of study.

They germinated them and sold them, one went to a friend, who airlayered the top and gave me the base.

It does not like to be trained so I just cut back to two leaves after 6 or 8 pairs have extended.
About 30 cm in height and the trunk is around 5cm.
I have thinned it for viewing.

Anyone - as you wish yay or nay comments.
Later.

Hello, dear Khaimraj!
I was making a search through topics started by you (want to find a thread about finer soil used for more mature bonsai) and have just seen this is for me!
Thank you!
I like this naturalistic style of yours, you know that. This is a nice tree with an interesting story behind it.

We get great pads by pinching new growth as it comes out. Your pads will increase ten fold by doing this, the only reason for growing it out is to thicken the branch.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Bazik/Ahmed,

it has been cut back to the trunk, to restore what it was supposed to look like, The olives of Florence, where I lived for three years.
Thanks for looking.
