So after continued research I think this may be Marufuji. Ryan correct me if I'm wrong here. Any info about this potter?

It's on my Chop and signature database. Marutou, Marufuji, same kiln. Mass produced pots from the Seto region, peak period during the boom years 25-30 years ago. Stencil painted.

Hey Ryan,
Thanks. I had gone through a couple times and somehow missed that chop. Your Blog is great by the way.

Thanks Todd! I really appreciate it! When I started it, I had no idea how much Interest there would be, but it's up over 20,000 hits a month! Way more Internest in containers than I ever thought! Thanks for reading!

I check in pretty regularly for updates and also go back through the old stuff now and again. I really like the Tour of the Northeastern gardens and go through those photos regularly. Thanks again.

Nobody goes through those photos more often than me, sir, guarenteed! I'm already looking forward to my Japanese Bonsai Pro Friends coming back this year. I'll be taking them to the Artisans Cup in Portland, and we'll be on another whirlwind trip, hitting every nursery from Portland to San Fran in 6 days! Should be a real treat.
