We received the sad news, that IBC member and San Diego Bonsai Club president David Rochester aka Big Dave passed away suddenly this week. David was a great inspiration to all who knew him, a most giving bonsai teacher and mentor. We shall miss him! kora

This is indeed a sad loss, Big Dave was an inspiration and a great promoter of Bonsai in the San Diego area. I had a lot of chats with him... he will be missed.
