why I decided to share this i'll never know except some times when your overly serious about everything, it feels some release when you do things for sheer fun.

alright, so I wanted to introduce something I'm working on with our local pot maker. look past the stylish craine and koi and focus on the blue bottom. This is not glaze but blue glass, broken into tiny bits and spread along the bottom of the suiban prior to it's time in the furnace.This look is so much nicer than the glaze. There are some things that needed to be worked out including a more uniform size of glass and a different heat but I see the potential. Where there were issues in the look I covered with sand.Hopefully we'll get one that looks perfect, but like all things pot wise, things don't always come out.
