Mountain Laurel Empty Mountain Laurel

I have tons of mountain laurel growing here,has anyone done any bonsai forms with them,I dug up a small side shoot of one,lot of little suckers growing on it,fig I would give it a try.

Mountain laurel - Kalima latifolia - would have to be a quite large bonsai, as the leaves are a bit long. They sure would be pretty in the spring! They're a member of the Heath family so would require very acid soil.
