How cold is where you are?

I'm south of St. Louis with the temps this morning arnound 20. All my trees are still out there.I'm trying to resist the urge to bring a ginko in.

Currently 24F with 18 inches of snow. As the old saying goes 'There's always someone worse off then you'

One of the things I like most about SW Oregon. Where I currently reside, in the Rogue Valley, it's green grass and blue skies (gray when it's raining)with temps hovering in the 40'sF. Half hour and I'm in the 30's and up to my butt in snow. Whatever it's doing here, it's almost always different on the coast. Go the other way and head over the Cascades and you're in high elevation semi-arid desert and we're talking teens and twenties. What a great place! Rick

If you like mild temps and rain in the winter then you'd love it around here.....been grey and wet for most of the month......but we had a white Xmas but it was gone with 2 days of rain ...about 32 here mabe some freezing evenings coming up...alll trees are still outside with one in the garage

Today it was in 52F and tomorrow we're expecting 63F. But if it finally rains tomorrow (as predicted) it will be the first time since October.. we're having one bad winter drought! The grass is always greener eh?

Very Breezy and dry, then heavy showers, then breezy and dry -- humidty 80% to 60 %

Its around 10C and wet and windy, some of my Larches are showing signs of life. Not good as we are certain to get a cold snap at just the wrong time,

The Space Coast was cool and windy on 12/30 and never got out of the mid 60's F, at 5 AM on 12/31 I think we are in the mid to low 40's F.
Hopefully it will warm up over the next couple of days.

Hm.. Here temp sits around 10C (50F?) and we are headed towards a top-10 wettests decembers ever recorded...

Wettest December? We are looking at the wettest YEAR on record! And it is still raining,

It's actually been nearly perfect here lately...daytime temps in the upper 20s to low 30s (F), nights in the low 20s. My wintering areas are at the perfect temperature. It would be nice if it stayed this way...the 12" or so of snow is icing on the cake, so to speak.
