Dragon Pot

Here is a Dragon Pot I'm working on.Thanks to Guide for the inspiration.

Looking forward to seeing the finished pot!

i'd like one with no holes, so it holds water not a tree

fire and water together - i like the balance - but then it should be a one off pot so all others have holes !

that is a serious request too - please let me know the possibility

land water pots are something I make all the time.The way I do them is one side is sealed off and the inside of the water side is glazed except where the partion is placed.that way the water seeps through to the tree side,which still has a drain hole in it.

i would like a dragon suiban type of pot . one single container not a two sided creation - dramatic movement in the dragon, coiled around a pool - i want the dragon to be the focus, but calmed by the water - no trees involved

glazed inside -yes, but dark to be mysterious and deep, outside textured and unglazed ....... inside not blue / white / or pale green like shallow sea water, but deep, dark, swirling and mysterious. can you 'see' my request?

ok I'll see what I can come up with,right now I'm battling a bad back pain,thats killing me through out my right leg,pain pills are not helping too much/To make one I need to decide oval or rectangle,or even round,to fit the dragon style.

The drainholes should be at least 4 times bigger, if they are for bonsai.

Ok Marcus

I started on a suiban style pot,I will start on the dragon later today and post pictures as I go along.I may Krackle the inside of the pot.Its eight inches across.
