Funeral for a Bonsai tree Empty Funeral for a Bonsai tree

When I first became interested in bonsai (around 35 years ago) I came across a short article in a Bonsai magazine about how long ago someone held a funeral for a bonsai tree that died. It wasn't really an actual article but more of a page filler. Anyway it noted that the man felt guilty that the tree died in his care and he had a funeral for it. I've been curious about this and wonder if anyone knows more about it.
