Fall korean hornbeam

Post  Tom Simonyi on Mon Oct 29, 2012 6:41 pm

Over the years the fall colors of this composition have been muted, and the leaves generally have gone from green straight to brown in late fall.....this year was a bit better so I decided to post. Regards,Tom

Nice pairing. Mine wasn't so bright this year.

Jim: Thanks for the kind words.....I appreciate it.

John: Thanks also for your input...I have had the trees since spring of 1992....purchased them as a young five tree grouping at an ABS meeting. I sincerely hope that you and your family are o.k.! Please let me know. In Morgantown we got 4-6 inches of snow (best guess....) winds in the 25-35 m.p.h. range. Did you see Snowshoe pictured on the Weather Channel last evening? Hope you have power..there are many without power up in the northern half of the state. So far so good with us....

Thanks again for your concern.

Best regards,
Tom
