Evening to All,

Just a simple effort and in a handmade pot. Shrub is about 12 years old.
10 inches [ 25.5 cm] tall and the trunk is just shy of 1 and 3/4 inches [ 4 cm + ]
It was sold as a garden fruit shrub.
Strangely enough no flowers as of yet or maybe I missed them,no fruit either.
Enjoy and as usual feel free to yay or nay.
Later.

How many time a year do you defiolate a malpiguia and for wich purpose (small ramification or small leaf) ? Here i'm actually having some in project but I never did it yet.

Thanks

Hello Fabrice,

I defoliate to renew the leaves once a year. The West Indian cherry is more leaf dense than branchlet dense, especially since I don't grow any of these shrubs taller than 18 inches [ 46 cm ].
So if I have to work on anything it's the foliages' domes and sinks.
Hope that helps.

Have anything you would like to show the group?
Later.
Khaimraj
