Its with great saddness to announce the passing suddenly of a friend & gentleman Mr Mal Francis, a stalwart
of bonsai , on behalf of us all at New Dawn Bonsai you will be sadly missed, our deepest sympathy to his
widow Val.

So sorry for your loss, that's always hard.

I joined my local club when I was 13, needless to say the other members were the age of my parents and grandparents. That was 35 years ago, not many are left. It's never easy saying goodbye to friends and mentors.
