pls help on styling my tree

this is my pemphis acidula or locally known as bantigue. i know this is not the best of material but with limited budget and resources i cant be choosy so i have to be contented on what i have. what do you think should i do to this tree? i was planning on chopping it after the first branch ang make a cascade or semi-cascade.

I agree that more pics would help, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't chop it at the first branch. I kinda like what I can see of the trunk. You might want to consider taking this OUT of its bonsai pot and putting it into something larger -- maybe 6 inches deep by 12 inches in diameter -- then letting it grow, trimming it back, letting it grow, trimming it back for a couple of years to see what else sprouts on that trunk.

got the addtl pics of the other 3 angles back, left side and right side. any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
may i just ask... honestly, does this tree has some kind of a future or a little bit of potential?

iv been thinking a "little" and this is what came to my mind... (just a thought)



1-bring down this branch so to be parallel with the lower branch
2-bend up about half of this branch
3-i will let this 2 little branch grow up then choose as apex or i could use both and make a sort of canopy/another 2 branches, 1 for each side

i know someone out there has better ideas...

Sounds like a good idea to me.
