looking for an old thread about a trunk bending technique

I am looking for an old thread (I cant remember who was started)!
He carved trunk, inserted some flexible wires inside the trunk, then wrapped entire trunk with a kind of band before bending.
I think it was a yew.
Does someone remember thread?

I think I've seen that posted by Victinia Ensor...not sure if it is here or at BNut.

I know others have done the same elsewhere and saw the same technique in mags and some blogs.
