Hi Juan,

Great post for your introduction. Don't worry, your English is perfectly good. Your kusamono and shitakusa are even better. I especially like the combinations you have chosen for your kusamono plantings. The Selaginella is excellent.

Is the succulent with moss Crassula sarcocaulis? I've never seen it flower so small.

My Accent Plants

Post  Robert J. Baran on Wed Aug 05, 2009 11:48 pm

Juan,

This is a very nice variety above and beyond the usual forms. I especially like the sedum in the whitish funnel (cornucopia), sedum and moss in irregular rusty container, striated pot with horsetails, pagoda on moss ball, spider plant on black root stand, bowl of Venus flytraps and horsetails, and the several small ikebana with curly twigs. You do seem to have an appreciation of this subart. Welcome!

Robert

Absolutely beautiful. Can I ask how tall the stand is that you use for the Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum).

Hi, thank you all for the welcome!, I try to answer all with my limited english Smile

Oberon, no conoces fronteras, espero ansioso ver las fotos de la remodelación de la sabina Wink

thank you Kev for the answer, the plant in the second photo is juncus spiralis. its common in garden center in mi area.

Fionnghal, the height of the pot of chlorophytum is approximately 40 centimeters.

Kenduncan, you can visit my blog www.shitakusamono.blogspot.com , there you will find some of my trees but my trees are not very good, sorry Smile

Key, I believe that it is not sarcocaulis but I´m not sure. The people of the forum will know better than me. I do not know the names of many plants.

thanks again for the welcome.
Regards.

At least it made sense!

Over on my cycling club forum I have been very amused by an ongoing thread in which people are posting their intentions to attend an event including details of where they'll meet up first, times etc. It seemed a shame to spoil their enthusiasm by pointing out that the original post was for an event in August 2009.

I wouldn't be so cruel.
