Allium senescens glaucum

Commonly called German Garlic or Curly Chives....I enjoy the color in late summer.

Thay are awesome Tom, we dont have that variety here. But we have Tulbachia's, but the size of your Alium is nice.
The flowers almost looks like Armeria's doesnt it?
Does it go to sleep in winter?

Thanks, Andre....good hearing from you..Yes, during the winter it goes dormant....I winter it outside (protected) with my other temperate trees - the foliage browns and dies back. New growth begins to appear about mid-March.
