I'll start off with an apology to Susquehanna Bonsai Club. Every time I went to take a picture, there was a mob of people on their display. After some waiting, I moved on and then I forgot. My apologies to you guys. You had a great display with some great trees.

A major THANK YOU to Arthur Joura for continuing this great show for the last 17 years. Seeing all the vendors and SOO many people there, is a huge testament to the amount of work Arthur is putting into this show. I saw Iowa plates in the parking lot.

You too John!!! You guys did a great job!!!! I heard no less than a dozen people talking about and discussing that bald cypress. It was great to hear the discussion amongst non-bonsaists. I can't wait to see what you do next year.

Have a great week brother!!!

Thank you for taking the time to take and upload this treasure trove Sam.

Thats at least two good shows for you this year!

I'll tell you this, when I met John G. in Rochester earlier this summer I recognized his voice long before I recognized HIM. Laughing

Best

Thanks for sharing these!

It appears that each group was in charge of their own display? If so, the Black Creek study group really stood out to me. Their display looks very professional and fresh.

excelent to photograph each total display - it shows perfectly how a viewer sees the whole thing. At a glance it is so easy to see which ones work, which ones have too many trees on, and what effect the backgrounds have on the clarity of the over all scene. I feel if dividers & details are used on the background panels the trees need to fit inside the 'frame' where plain backdrops are far more flexible.

nice variation to the trees and a good looking venue

cheers
