We really need to see a single, eye-level, photograph of the entire tree, taken against a plain background.

After looking at your photographs, I think the white wire shows how you would like to develop a new trunk and basic branches. If I am right, it would be a beautiful tree! My only suggestion is to cover some of the roots, they are a little too exposed for my taste.

An excellent long term project. Congratulations.
