Help with ficus ID please
I bought this unlabeled ficus from a nursery 2 years ago. The nursery staff had no clue on what species this is, saying they are vending the trees from different suppliers. The leaves are shiny and leathery approx 2-3 cms long and half that for the width. The trunk is whitish with dark horizontal striae. This tree loves H20 as you can see the vigorous leaves and new branches, soaking up the retention tray as fast as it could be filled. Does anyone have an idea what species this is?

There are a lot of "cultivars" out there of Ficus. These are not hybrids but selections for various qualities. I think this is a Ficus benjaminia cultivar, possibly "Exoctica" it could also be Ficus philippineses (sp)

After googling for images of the species you mentioned, it looks like its F. philippinensis. Thanks Billy.
