Please help me ID my bonsai pot
I was wondering if anyone knew what this pot is. I'm pretty sure it's not a high priced item by any stretch of the imagination but I thought it might be interesting to learn a little more.
Thanks for looking,
Victor

There's a book out there somewhere which identifies bonsai pot 'chops', as they're called. There may even be a website these days. Worth spending some time searching for.

Hello, thank you for replying.
I have searched on this forum and a bit of google but my problem seems to be that it isn't Japanese, which is the one more looked at in common searchable literature. Do you possibly remember the books name?
Thanks,
Victor

That's me. The site that is. The pot is Chinese, modern, and inexpensive. I have a ton of similiar ones. They're made for mid level nurseries that need good looking pots to sell mid level trees. There's a very large market for these in Japan. They're "sell pots".
