cut and cut

after a long time seeing with this form

today, I decided to cut 2 branches


and now

Can I ask why you made this change? And is it the final design or are you planning another - e.g. to grow one side more than the other?

this is the final design, i made this change because i want to get a new seeing for it

thanks Andre , this species is water jasmine( wrightia religrosa), I collected it some years ago from my friend and I know that it has been trained since 1995

Beautiful tree, I love the change too, it gives an impression of strenth and majesty now.

Did you wire it at some stage or did you only work by "clip and grow"?...

Nice tree either way. Personally, I am not sure about the change and I am having mixed feelings about it.

I hope those cutting can be (& are) planted.

Seeing the branch ramifications on the branches you cut off almost made me sick. I do like the new design much better. You can really show off that amazing trunk better.
