Ficus with long internodes
Hi all,
I'm new to bonsai and recently purchase a Ficus microcarpa, it had a nice trunk, roots and primary branches but the secondary branches were way too long. So I did some heavy cut backs. I was surprised to see so many new buds appearing about a week later, however as they grew, I noticed they had very long internodes, even for the first few leaves. Should I just let them grow out or should I remove them now? Thanks!
Regards,
Phira

Re: Ficus with long internodes
It probably needs more light. And maybe less fertilizer.
