I made it out of the local nursery today without buying a tree! Will wonders never cease.

But I did buy a plant. This is Juncus effusus 'Spiralis'. It will be, I think, a rather interesting accent. They were cheap ($2.50 per), so I brought two. Dunno what I'll do with the other yet.

According to the info on the plant label, these require full sun. In the ground, they can grow to 12 inches. They can withstand cold to 45 degrees F (7 C) so it's some kind of protection come winter, I guess (If I remember).

And, no Photoshop here (except to crop). Those are my REAL fingers <g>

I don't know Jim, that thumb looks foreshortend and the back of the pot is in front of the other fingers Twisted Evil

It make a nice accent. I had some and gave it away to a friend from India. I haven't found a replacement yet.

Nice accent plant, Jim. I believe the common name is 'Corkscrew Rush'....I found one last year as well and really like it....at the time it was in flower (purple flowers reminiscent of chives); however, it has not flowered since.

Hope you enjoy it.

Regards,
Tom
