Here is my first styling on my new Texas Ebony I just purchased from Jupiter Bonsai two weeks ago. I root pruned it and potted in a smaller pot for now in soiless mix. Let me know what you guys thinks. I think it is going to be a winner. cheers

Great looking material. ThumbsUp

I have a couple seedlings but I should really be hunting for older ones down south. Problem I read is they are difficult to collect due to their tap root and have very low success rate (yamadori wise).

Good luck on this and hope to see the progress of it's development.

They grow fairly quick, this one was defoliated two weeks ago and it is starting to bud out already everywhere. Poink if you want I can get you a raw one and you work it? let me know.

Thanks! Down south, there is plenty of it and my in-laws have several acres of farmland where I might find some. I will let you know if I cannot find/get any.
