Robert's old friends house

Post  Guest on Tue May 08, 2012 3:31 am

We visited Robert's old friend. This guy got some of the craziest collection, not jut bonsai but some other stuffs too....He's in Guiness book of record too. affraid
His Bonsai are not just the regular ones...the materials are some of the best around here in Asia...I believe.
For security reason I won't state his name.

his current trees numbering more than a thousand is just now a third of what he used to have in his younger years,,, he just keep " few" now adays...just around 1500 plus trees.

This is not a park,,,private garden view from his home office.

The trees in front of Robert are just the regular ones...LOL

more crazy stuffs...later and a Dream Bedroom for most bonsai artist!!!! I really love his bedroom. I am a practicing Interior decorator, Architect and Bonsaists, but his bedroom design blown me away.

regards,
jun Smile

What is this, Robert? Is that its real shell or has it been coated in metal? It's like a sculpture.

Yes Smithy,
But not enough. Robert's estimate he'll be needing at least 15 to 20 guys to work simultaneously to bring the trees in their tip-top shape.

Tomorrow I'll post the other photos. I am still developing the negative films..hehehe

Beautiful Jun. Thanks for sharing. This looks like bonsai heaven to me. Incredible bedroom. The penjing in his bedroom look very large. I imagine it is hard work to keep them rotated in and out of the house. Please share more pictures soon!
Best,
Todd

Just one of his rare item in his weird collection...the biggest snake skin I ever seen. from Palawan Philippines... favorite meal of this "worm"---bacon,,,and the rest of the pig.

Notice the hedge at the right side garden,,,,they are well maintained Ficus microcarpa all show quality,,,just planted in the ground all over the place

Some of his nice stones, from Asia not China...never thought we got these beautiful gems here in this country.

Very nice paper weight...
