Hello L.L.B, and others,

busy presently, but just wanted to let you know that the tamarinds are doing well.

I am however encountering a repeating problem, for whatever reason with tamarinds I have trained as multiple branched specimens. When I repot them, they just fade away.
Will figure that out eventually.

Still working to see just how small one can train a tamarind, and how many branches, one can keep healthy.

I am happy to say one of my elm roots mutated into a genuine weeping elm, and I doing my best to keep it healthy and developing a large trunk.

Started an experiment on the Chinese type serissa, growing a plant in a plastic umbrella stand [ you know the one you use when it's raining and the umbrella is left to drain in.] The idea is root shaped trees. Thus the soil is a coarse, sifted crushed brick and compost. Will post images as I make time.

Still searching for the ultimate Seagrape, the one with many branches/sub-branches and can be trained for under 15 cm.
Fingers crossed.

I have been testing Sageretia theesans resistance to full sun, as small specimens first. Seems to work.

AND my Celtis / Gingko are out of the refrigerator being prepared for trough growing. They are all in colanders, the celtis. The gingko, does as he/she wishes.

Everyone else as trees grow, are just fine.
So until later.
Stay Well.
